Framelits

I know I keep mentioning framelits in my blogs and on my facebook page (which I’d love for you to like) and I’ve had some ask what they are.

To start off you need a bigshot which you can purchase any time from me and then you need these little dies which are little pieces of metal with a blade in them used to cut out shapes.
Many of the Stampin’ Up! framelits come with matching dies. Many are even discounted by 15% if you buy both at the same time. I am going to demonstrate using the the Hearts a flutter stamp and framelit bundle available with the new mini catalogue. I stamped all my images onto a piece of whisper white cardstock.

Then you add the framelits on top of the stamped image.

Here is a close up of the die ontop of the stamped images.

I use sticky notes to hold them in place so they don’t move around while going through the bigshot.

Here is my lovely daughter holding the cut out images. It is so easy to do even a 6 year old can do it. Yes, she did this.

This is out of the bigshot and picked up with the die still in place.

Don’t you just love how easy the framelits are to use? I love that I can have these shapes in any patterned paper I like OR I can use the stamps and use any colour ink I have to create this look. It is sooo simple.

Simple Valentine's Day card using Island Indigo ink with the stamps and the framelits. I love this set. Just saying.

I have also used this set in a few class layouts recently and the girls love it too.

If you would like to place an order for the framelits, stamps or any other items please contact me. I can place an order for you at any time and have it shipped directly to you.

Sale-a-bration is amazing this year. For every $100 you spend you are able to choose a free product from the sale-a-brations catalogue. There are amazing items in this catalogue. My favourites would have to be the designer paper series (DSP) and the leaf embossing folder. Get both of these for a $200 purchase. There are 19 free items to choose from. I have used the DSP and button and ribbon pack in this layout. Place an order with me and choose the DSP as your chosen free product and you will receive my instruction sheet for this layout. I have also used the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set to create my detailed flower title block. This is another free item when you spend $100 in an order.
