The technique we used in April’s class was repetition.
Here is one sample we created. I created another one which was a Thank you card using the Thanks a Million. Exactly the same design with an alternate sentiment.
We used the woodgrain background stamp which is on the retirement list. So if you love the background order it before it is no longer available.

Day 1 is over and although I am exhausted (not helped by getting up at 6am and running 7km) I am so inspired by this fantastic company I work with.
We creates many projects today. I’ll show a few of them soon. All of these products are available in the new catalogue being released in July.
I am most excited about the project life line in our catalogue and so pleased we were able to create with it today and trial the new photopolymer stamps which coordinate with the project life line but which would be perfect for any scrapbooking project or card project.
We were given the set Kinda Eclectic as part of our convention registration. Here are 4 projects we made with this awesome stamp set.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with another update because this isn’t all the projects I created today. Can you tell I’m so pumped? Awesome. If you’re jealous you’re missing it. Start saving for next year. Everyone is welcome.
As those of you who know me would know I’m in love with Project Life and have completed Project Life albums for the past 6 years.
So what is Project Life?
Project Life is a simplified memory keeping system. It allows you to slip photos into pockets (similar to how you would in a traditional photo album) and add journaling cards alongside so you are creating beautiful memories. It is really simple. All you need is an album, page protectors, journaling cards, a pen and photos and you can create a stunning album of memories.
Of course there is always room for more embellishing by adding stickers, twine, stamping, ribbon, wood veneers, candy dots and memorabilia.
This 60 second video shows 6 months of my Project Life album from 2011. That was more than one photo a day for 6 months. So easy to do. I LOVE Project Life so I’m so excited Stampin’ Up! have joined forces with Becky Higgins to create our own unique products. For more of my previous Project Life have a look at my old blog here.
Here is Stampin’ Up!s quick video to introduce Project Life the Stampin’ Up! way.
As we know more I will let you know more. There will be 5 new project life kits in the new catalogue so that is really exciting. As soon as they are available for pre-order for demonstrators (another perk of being a demonstrator) I will be placing my order and therefore being able to create pages to share with you.
