Are you enjoying all the Christmas projects? You will have arrived from Paula and her fantastic project.
I’ve been doing Project Life for many, many years now. I love to document Christmas time because for us it is a time of tradition and a very special time in our family.
I used the Seasonal Snapshot Project Life card collection and the Seasonal Snapshot Project Life Accessory Pack to complete these pages. The only other items I added were the Festival of Trees bundle to add a bit of detail to my Christmas tree pages, the Handheld Stapler because I just love the look of the staples and they fit really well with the school pages I had to do.
These first pages I kept very simple showing you how easy Project Life can be.
I thought I would include a close up of my journaling just to show the different ways you can journal.
Here I used StazOn to add the day to the photo. I love StazOn. It is a fantastic ink. Just make sure you clean your stamps properly after use and don’t use your Stampin’ Scrub to clean off the StazOn .
This stamp and matching punch is stuck with fast fuse to the outside of the pocket.
I am thinking I should do a review of the Project Life Journaling Pens because over the years I have used a lot of different pens to journal with. These are fantastic and I love that you get 2 different sizes in the pack. They just write so well.
Here I have used the So Social stampset and a card from the kit which I didn’t want to use. I cut the card into banners after I stamped the words. Don’t be afraid to alter or cut up your cards.
I added the staples from the Handheld Stapler to the banners and a dimensional under the banner end to give it some dimension and give the appearance of real banners.
Here is the Festival of Tree bundle in use to add a little detail to a simple Project Life card. Don’t you just love a coordinating stampset and punch?
I kept these pages fairly simple because I have a lot of photos from Christmas and December last year and I have 6 Project Life albums to complete for that period. This year I plan on being prepared and doing a December Daily album using the new 6×8’ album and getting most of it completed before December begins that way with the rush of the crazy season I will be up to date.
Now head on over to Ria’s blog.
