Aren’t these in colours fabulous? I love the new green, emerald envy is my favourite.
Dapper denim is a colour I think I will use a lot.
How cute is the elephant stamp?
This new ribbon is beautiful too. It is very lovely.
A lovely pink, flirty flamingo.
Peekaboo peach will have some people excited but you know me, it’s not my cup of tea.
Sweet sugarplum is a nice purple additions to our colours.
I love these cards. Very simple. Same design just altering a few things each time.
I can’t wait to share more with you as the week goes on.
Although the new catalogue is very exciting make sure you’re checking the retirement list and purchasing the supplies you want because once they sell out they are gone forever. Get some of those punches now.
I’m here on the Gold Coast in beautiful Queensland for the Stampin’ Up! Onstage convention. I’m so pleased my darling husband booked a room for me and is holding fort at home with the 5 kids. He is a superstar. Thanks darling.
Training, of course, has been very educational as well as very inspiring and I can’t wait to get back and start implementing some of the words of wisdom. I just love learning from other demonstrators and hearing about how they run their businesses.
Here was our dinner table.
Dinner was fabulous, even the cheese platter during our brain storming training was to die for. Thanks Stampin’ Up! for looking after us and treating us so well.
Yummy chicken for my main.
That chocolate mousey goodness was amazing but the popcorn toffee was heaven.
I will post our gorgeous gift tomorrow as I don’t want to spoil it for other demos around the world who have yet to recieve theirs.
This was such a quick and easy layout to create. The colour inspiration for the layout came from the blue thread. This was found while sweeping the house and comes from a piece of Lisa’s clothing. The thread was already in rings which again inspired the circular design.
I started the layout with a kids water colour set and painted some random sized circles all over the 12×12 piece of whisper white. I then added lots of water to the water colour pallet and used the brush to tap splatters of colour diagonally across the page.
In my scrap basket in front of my work space were these strips of scraps which were from a card class I ran years ago and I had pulled out to take to the retreat I ran at the beginning of April but hadn’t put away. The colours coordinated very well so I had to attach them with the Stampin’ Up! mini stapler. The scalloped edge was from one of the Stampin’ Up! accessory kits which are in the clearance rack.
Add a bit of stamping around the page.
I created these layers and quickly journalled my story and I now have another layout completed for Kevin’s scrapbook.
