I’ve always been a massive fan of alcohol markers. One of the benefits of our markers is the are colour matches with their blending buddy. It’s takes the guess work away and you don’t have to decide which colours you’re going to buy to go with which.
Welcome from Monique‘s blog. Thanks for your fabulous work Monique.
I have created some cards for this bloghop and I used my recent technique class as inspiration for these cards. Remember to use the cards you love as inspiration for new cards.
These pens blend really well. The key is more ink rather than less. Here is my reflection card inspiration.
My next blends card.
Many years ago I created a similar card for a stamp-a-stack but I love the detail the pens offer. I’ve included it below so you can see how effective both versions are. I am pressed for time constantly but using a design you know works is very helpful in cutting down time wasting.
Hints for using blends:
Make sure you go back over your image with the lighter colour to ensure everything is blended well. Use a circular motion so the colours all blend well together.
Use smaller amounts of the dark colour. You can always add more.
Flick with your brush end.
Use the small end for detailed, smaller areas.
Next you off to Maree. Enjoy her delightful creations and if you get lost please use the links below to make sure you get around to everyone.
